FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS::

>>Why is the workshop so long? This experience is designed to have a lot of spaciousness. All of my work is in dedication and reverence to feminine energy, and most of my journey and offerings came through my sexual healing journey, which requires a lot of slowness and deep listening to the needs of the body. Participants are encouraged to nurture their bodies whenever needed in this event. This means, eating, stretching and taking breaks.

I also anticipate that first time portrait artists may need more individual help outside of the demos and handouts. That is also encouraged!

There is lots of space in this experience to get the full benefits of the experience. But let me tell you, TIME FLIES, in the art world. It’s really not long at all. Think of it as a devotional practice and communion between you and your highest self.

>>Will you be teaching this again? At this current time, I have no future plans for Portrait of the Soul in person, however, I do plan to re-do the online course version of this in the next couple of years and run it as a signature program. If your on the fence I definitely recommend coming in person if you can.

>>What materials do I need? And how much will it cost? That will vary from person to person depending what they already have. I provide a supplies list to those who sign up, with links to the right supplies, including full on paint kits. I’d say if your starting out from scratch between $100-$150 depending on your preferences.

>>Is food provided? This is a bring your own food event. The location is surrounded by lots of restaurants and places to eat. We will have an hour break for lunch every day.

>>Refund Policy:: There are NO refunds for Portrait of the Soul, credit it transferable towards online course, photography, or online lessons.

a love note to your inner child,

& to anyone who believes they are not an artist.

ADDRESSING THIS::

“I’m not an artist”

“I don’t have an artist bone in my body”

Hey sweet love, I wanted to make a special section for this, because it hit’s me down to my soul and breaks my heart for the child in you. I just want to say that OF COURSE YOU ARE AN ARTIST! You were BORN to be a creator. Weather it is make up, photography, setting the dining room table. Your entire being is ART!

I’m sorry the world ever told you differently. I know what is like to live with a critic in your head. But that is NOT your voice. And I hope and intend to silence that voice through all that I offer.

Imagine your child self, FREE, with a pack of crayons, drawing so recklessness they break every crayon they get a hold of. They find themselves in trouble because they see the world as a canvas as have drawn on mom’s pink leather chair. OOPS.(oh yeah that was me).

THAT PART OF YOU IS A FREAKING LEGEND! I LOVE THAT PART OF YOU!!!!!

Please don’t hide it.

What I wish more people understood is you don’t have to be “good” at art to enjoy the beauty and wonder of your own expression. There is beauty in the ugly. I feel that’s what I am always discovering. The beauty of letting go of every fuck in your body.

Please make shitty art. Please kill off the perfectionist in you. It’s holding you back. Your expression deserves to FULLY expressed.

ALL this to say. I will not tolerate this “I’m not an artist nonsense”.

Yes you are.

Yes you are.

Your life is the canvas, and your body is the paint brush, your thoughts are the pigments, make it beautiful.

This masterpiece of YOUR life!
