This was a powerful piece for me to bring forth. It was in my life drawing class and I actually moved halfway through the pose to this weird spot relative to where we typically would view the model. When I saw the angle of the pose I freaked! It was so beautiful. I felt so hypnotized at this pose and hardly ever looked at my paper. it was truly amazing to experience the hand and eye relationship I had developed over the years. This piece was an important milestone for me as an artist. I’ve spent a lot of time just training my eye to work with my hand and it was beautiful see that some of the best hands I’ve ever captured were with pen while looking at this pose. It’s inspired me so much and therefore has a note.
